Volunteers dig deep to spruce up area outside Wellingborough community centre
A group of green-fingered volunteers have been digging deep to spruce up the area outside a Wellingborough community centre.
Liz Coombe is one of the team who has been helping to make a huge difference to the borders around Glamis Hall on the town's Queensway estate.

Hide AdVolunteers have given up their time to help out and Liz says their efforts have paid off as it looks 'fab' now.
Liz told the Northants Telegraph said: "After several months and with the help of Sarah Gouffini, Georgina Harris and Freddie Harris, and several others along the way who did their bit, we have finally completed mulching the boundary.
"A massive thanks to Vernon Hall of Tree Solutions for supplying the bark chips.
"Still more work to do but we have cracked the most important part.

Following this work, Liz says the next step is to make it more wildlife friendly by making additions such as bug houses.
